Texas Burlesque Festival, Actor's Express, Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend, Americana Burlesque & Sideshow Festival....

It's been crazy lately, but it's been a blast.  Looking forward to an easy weekend.  If weaponx_x_x is cool with it I may be MCing this weekend which means I'll actually be out at a club night and get to hang out and see people, YAY!  I miss everyone.

June 27th we'll have Piratey goodness at Little Tree Studios at 7 & 10pm, I think it'll be fun.
July 1st Burlesque & Cabaret Meet-up at James Joyce at 8pm.  Always fun to hang out with everyone.
July 3-5th, Heavy Rebel Weekend in Winston-Salem.  I won't be performing since that's weaponx_x_x 's mom's b-day weekend but Renea'le Roux, Talloolah Love and Vagina Jenkins will be there.
July is also when we move into the Syrens of the South Studio Space.  We're looking at having the stage the 3rd weekend of every month.  It avoids most of the festivals and we'll be able to have shows, events, meet & greats, etc....  So be looking around July 18th for an open house with DJs, art, maybe even a burlesque bake sale, lol.

Actor's Express show was weird...we have ironed out everything and those problems will never be there again. I guess we're doing something right if someone is trying to steal Syrens of the South...no really, said they were our agent to the venue and said they were with the venue to us...strangest thing ever, but it's all worked out now and next time we're there it will be super awesome since we will have cut out the middle man. The show it's self was super awesome and everyone was amazing. It was great getting to do shows with Torchy while she was in town. Stimulus Package and Actor's Express...wish she could have been around longer but she moved on to Nashville after Vegas.

Speaking of Vegas...Renea was awesome and I am so super proud of her. Here's the carriage we shipped...yeah, you heard me, carriage!


Had a great time but I need a better camera. Mine is awesome for goofing off shots, but I couldn't get any pictures of the shows due to distance and movement which was lame. So by next year, I will have a more professional camera, just no way around it.

This weekend is the Art-B-Q in Atlanta and ABSFest in Asheville. I will be in Asheville, but I think the show at the Art-B-Q is going to be pretty awesome! Shows at 10:30pm at Little Tree Studios so if you're in town go check it out. Me...I'm looking forward to the purple party bus! June is becoming one of my favourite months, two weekends with Trixie and Monkey, does it get any better?

I had so much fun with everyone in Vegas, really need to find a way to head up to New York and try to visit LA at some point again. New York is closer so it's a lot easier, but I don't want to neglect my West Coast buddies either. However, looks like I'll be able to meander up the coast to Canada to do some shows around the end of July/begining of August.

And now, I should finish packing everything for this weekend. Group number Friday night, solo on Saturday night, teaching class on Sunday.

I'll post pictures soon, have some great shots of us and Little Brooklyn on the floor at the after party...it was all very silly.
